Getting started
Pick the path that matches what you want to do. Each one stands on its own, so you can skip the rest.
note
Everything below runs against the public testnet. Testnet coins have no value. Mainnet has not launched.
Mine
You need a computer with a modern CPU and a few GB of free RAM. One command installs the miner.
curl -fsSL https://downloads.zecnero.org/install-miner.sh | bash
Windows users run the PowerShell installer instead. Both are covered in the mining quick start.
Use a wallet
Install the wallet, write down your seed and get an address. Then claim a few testnet coins from the faucet so you have something to send.
Run a node
A node checks every block and transaction itself. Run one if you mine solo, operate a pool or service, or would rather not trust the public node.
Integrate
For pools, exchanges, explorers and wallet developers.
- Pool operators kit: block templates, the RandomX key schedule, the founder output and test vectors.
- Exchanges and integrators: confirmations, address formats, RPC and shielded deposits.
- Explorer API
